Prerequisites
Step-by-Step Setup
In Equipment settings, choose your console brand from the dropdown.
Enter the console's IP address. The port number is filled in automatically for your brand.
Connect and confirm the console shows as online in the status panel.
Try the available commands:
Mute/unmute a channel
Adjust a channel's volume level
Check the main output mute status
Load a saved mix setup (if supported by your console)
Look at the capability notes in the app to see which features are fully supported, partially supported, or not available for your console.
Note: Behringer/Midas consoles (X32/M32) have the most complete support. Allen & Heath and Yamaha consoles have fewer remote control features available. Loading saved mixes remotely isn't possible on most consoles — use the console's built-in controls for that.

The connection details for each console brand:
Behringer/Midas X32/M32: UDP port
10023Allen & Heath SQ/dLive: UDP port

Each brand uses a different communication protocol with different capabilities. "Scene recall" (loading a saved mixer setup) is only available on some Behringer/Midas consoles. Allen & Heath and Yamaha consoles have more limited remote control due to protocol restrictions.
State updates (like seeing volume changes) may take 1-2 seconds to sync — this is normal network behavior, not an error.

Common Issues and Fixes
| Symptom | Cause | Fix |

| Some features missing | Not all consoles support all features remotely | Check the capability list; some functions are console-only |

| Slow status updates | Normal network delay | Allow 1-2 seconds for changes to show up |
| Can't load saved mixes | Not supported remotely on your console | Use the console's physical controls for that |
Rollback / Fallback
Put the console in monitoring-only mode.
Use the console's physical controls for features Tally can't handle remotely.
