Install Tally Desktop (Mac)
Quick Start
Download the Tally installer file from the link your admin gave you
Double-click the downloaded file, then drag the Tally app into your Applications folder
Open Tally from Applications — if Mac asks for permission, click Open
Confirm you see the sign-in screen

Prerequisites
Step-by-Step Setup
Download the Tally installer file from the link provided by your admin or reseller.
Double-click the downloaded file to open it. You'll see the Tally app icon and an Applications folder shortcut.
Drag the Tally app into the Applications folder.
Right-click the installer icon on your desktop and choose Eject.
Open the app from Applications. If macOS shows a security warning, click Open to continue.
Note: If macOS blocks the app entirely, go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.

Common Issues and Fixes

Rollback / Fallback
Delete Tally from Applications.
Reboot the Mac.
Download a fresh installer and try again.
