In Equipment settings, enter the ProPresenter host address and port.
Connect and confirm the status shows as active.
Try these basic navigation commands:
Next slide / Previous slide
Go to a specific slide number
Clear the current slide / Clear all
Try these advanced features:
Looks — switch between visual presets (different screen layouts)
Timers — start or stop a countdown timer
Stage messages — send a text message to the stage display, then clear it
Confirm that the current slide name and ProPresenter version appear in the Tally status panel.

Common Issues and Fixes
| Symptom | Cause | Fix |

| Can't connect | Wrong address/port or API not enabled | Check ProPresenter's network settings and make sure API access is turned on |
| Command works but nothing changes visually | Wrong playlist or presentation is active | Check which playlist is loaded in ProPresenter |

Rollback / Fallback
Put Tally in monitoring-only mode for ProPresenter.
